A California based company; Brobeck Solar Energy presents the Brobeck Solar Energy Debit Card, an innovative-patented approach using solar energy to provide energy efficiency benefits and to reduce homeowners and businesses energy expenses. The Energy Debit Card is particularly suited for schools and the Affordable and Low-Income Housing Communities

Brobeck Solar Energy is establishing a new approach where customers that allow solar electric energy systems to be installed at their homes, apartment complexes or businesses will be issued a Brobeck Energy Debit Card. The Brobeck Energy Debit Card’s account will be credited for each kilowatt-hour of electricity generated by their solar electric systems.

The Brobeck Energy Debit Card is being developed to allow our customers to cost effectively purchase energy efficient appliances and other energy related goods and services. For example, our customers could potentially use their Energy Debit Card credits to purchase a new air-conditioner or heating system, low wattage lighting, double pane windows and other energy efficiency building improvements. Brobeck Solar Energy expects that, over time, the credits on the card may also be used to purchase other products, such as electricity, natural gas and public transit passes.

It is anticipated that the Brobeck Energy Debit Card will be one of the proactive tools that participating utilities and their customers can use in concert with the recently enacted California Solar Initiative to achieve California’s goal of having One Million Solar Rooftops!
